Director Human Resources

The Director of Human Resources will lead the People Strategy and Capability Branch within the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry. This role is responsible for designing and delivering strategies and programs that build staff capability, strengthen leadership, and support a positive and inclusive culture. Key responsibilities include overseeing targeted recruitment initiatives, managing learning and development programs, and ensuring the workforce has the necessary skills and capacity to deliver on organizational priorities.

Proven experience in human resources leadership, with a focus on workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development. Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to design and implement effective HR programs.
