RN New Graduate Internship Program - Surgical Care Unit

The RN New Graduate Internship Program in the Surgical Care Unit is designed for recent nursing graduates to develop clinical skills and professional competencies in a supportive environment. The RN advocates for patients and utilizes the nursing process—including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—based on scientific, evidence-based knowledge. Responsibilities include partnering with patients, families, and the care team to provide holistic care and achieve optimal outcomes.

Must be a recent graduate from an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing). Current RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
