SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER

This position serves as a Supervisory General Engineer providing guidance on test and evaluation policy, management, and requirements. The incumbent will develop innovative solutions to problems in support of program objectives. Responsibilities include overseeing test and evaluation activities, ensuring compliance with established policies, and managing resources to achieve program goals. The role involves supervising a team of engineers and technical staff, coordinating with stakeholders, and providing expert advice on engineering matters.

In addition to the Basic Education requirement, applicants must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Naval Sea Systems Command is a U.S. Navy organization responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of naval ships and systems. It provides engineering and technical support for naval programs.
