Volunteer Law Clerk

The Volunteer Law Clerk position is located within the United States Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Florida (NDFL). The office represents the federal government in litigation involving the United States across 23 counties in the Florida Panhandle and Big Bend. Responsibilities include assisting attorneys with legal research, drafting legal documents, preparing for trials and hearings, and supporting case management. The role involves working on a variety of civil and criminal cases, providing exposure to federal litigation processes.

To be eligible for this internship, all of the following requirements must be met: Student Status: Acceptance of applications is limited to second and third-year law students enrolled in law school pursuing a Juris Doctor degree.
