Apprentice Heavy Equipment Mechanic - CCQ - MU2

As an Apprentice Heavy Equipment Mechanic for the MU2 Wind Project, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment assigned to the project. This role involves performing routine inspections, diagnosing mechanical issues, and conducting repairs on various types of heavy machinery used in wind energy construction and operations. You will work under the guidance of experienced mechanics to develop your skills in equipment maintenance, ensuring all machinery operates safely and efficiently.

This position is an apprenticeship role, requiring enrollment in or completion of a recognized heavy equipment mechanic apprenticeship program. Candidates must be registered with the Commission de la construction du Québec (CCQ) and have a valid union association membership.

Borea Construction is involved in the development and construction of wind energy projects, specifically the Des Neiges - Secteur Sud wind farm in Quebec, Canada, which includes 57 wind turbines with a total capacity of 400 MW.
