Legislative Analyst

As a Legislative Analyst in the Pathways Recent Graduates Program, you will work within the Office of Legislative Affairs at the Federal Communications Commission. Your primary responsibilities include conducting legislative analysis and preliminary research on pending legislation, congressional hearings, and committee activities. You will prepare legislative summaries, issue papers, briefing memoranda, and talking points that explain the purpose of proposed legislation. Additionally, you will develop written legislative analyses that identify the purpose and scope of proposed legislation.

Applicants must have graduated by June 2026 to be eligible. Qualifications vary by grade level: GS-7: One full year of graduate-level education or superior academic achievement; OR one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-5, including conducting legislative analysis and preliminary resear
