Apprentice Machinist

As an Apprentice Machinist at Startec Compression & Process, you will work dayshift at our Shepard Shop in Calgary, AB. Your primary responsibilities include operating and maintaining machining equipment such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to fabricate precision components for modularized process, refrigeration, and rotating equipment solutions. You will read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations, setup requirements, and tolerances.

To be considered for this Apprentice Machinist position, you must be enrolled in or have completed a recognized apprenticeship program in machining or a related trade. You should have a basic understanding of machining principles, including the use of manual and CNC equipment.
