Pharmacy Intern

Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, the Pharmacy Intern will perform a variety of duties focused on patient care and pharmacy operations. Responsibilities include accurate data entry of prescriptions, filling and packaging medications, and compounding preparations as needed. The intern will assist in maintaining inventory levels, ensuring proper storage and handling of pharmaceuticals, and verifying expiration dates. They will also provide customer service by answering patient questions, processing insurance claims, and coordinating with healthcare providers.

Must be enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program and hold a valid pharmacy intern license or be eligible for licensure. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a customer-oriented attitude are essential.
