Registered Nurse Community Living Center

The Registered Nurse in the Community Living Center delivers direct patient care to residents requiring long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitative services. Key responsibilities include: Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs. Clinical Interventions: Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor vital signs.

Basic Requirements: Proficiency in written and spoken English (per 38 U.S.C. 7403(f)). Graduate of a professional nursing program approved by the appropriate accrediting agency (e.g., ACEN or CCNE).
