Therapeutic Recreation Internship Program

The Therapeutic Recreation Intern will engage in inclusive, strength-based recreational programming designed to empower individuals on the autism spectrum through adventure, social engagement, and personal growth. Responsibilities include assisting in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of therapeutic recreation activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. The intern will work directly with clients to facilitate group and individual sessions, adapting activities to meet diverse needs and abilities.

Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a bachelor's or master's degree program in Therapeutic Recreation, Recreation Therapy, or a related field. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with individuals on the autism spectrum.
