As a Machinist Intern at GE Vernova, you will work within a dedicated training cell that replicates a real-world production environment.
Your primary responsibilities include operating and maintaining manual and CNC machine tools such as lathes, mills, and grinders to produce precision components.
You will interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to set up and adjust machine parameters, ensuring parts meet specified tolerances.
Additionally, you will perform quality inspections using measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a machinist, manufacturing, or related technical program.
Basic understanding of machining principles and blueprint reading.
Familiarity with manual and CNC machine tools is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
