VCS Communications and Marketing Assistant

As a VCS Communications and Marketing Assistant, you will support the Federal mission through a volunteer project-based opportunity. Your responsibilities include assisting with communications and marketing initiatives, creating and editing content for various platforms, and ensuring brand consistency. You will collaborate with team members to develop marketing materials, manage social media accounts, and support retail marketing efforts. Additionally, you will contribute to customer service strategies and help maintain attention to detail in all communications.

Must be enrolled not less than half-time in an accredited trade school, technical or vocational institute, junior college, college, university, or other accredited educational institution. Participation must be with the permission of the institution at which the student is enrolled.

Veterans Canteen Service operates retail and food service facilities for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, providing products and services to veterans and their families.
