Architectural, Emerging Talent Intern

As an Architectural, Emerging Talent Intern with the Department of Subways at New York City Transit, you will support the Facilities Project Management team in managing space needs for leased and MTA-owned buildings. Your responsibilities will include assisting with architectural design and planning for subway facilities, preparing and reviewing drawings, specifications, and construction documents. You will collaborate with senior architects and project managers to ensure projects align with safety, regulatory, and operational standards.

Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field. Strong interest in architectural design and project management. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) operates public transportation in New York, including subways, buses, and commuter rails. This role is within the Department of Subways, focusing on facilities project management for MTA-owned buildings.
