Economist

As an Economist (Recent Graduate) at the Bureau of Economic Analysis, you will be responsible for conducting economic research and analysis to support the production of key economic statistics. Your duties will include: Data Collection and Analysis: Compiling and assembling statistical material from primary and diverse sources. Collecting and analyzing economic data to ensure accuracy and completeness. Data Quality Assurance: Evaluating and interpreting economic information to maintain data quality. Identifying data discrepancies, irregularities, and resolving them through systematic review.

Basic Entry Requirements: Must be a Recent College Graduate from a qualifying institution within two years of degree or certification (Veterans precluded by military service obligation have up to six years to apply).
