Registered Nurse Home Based Primary Care

The Home Based Registered Nurse provides care in veterans' homes to promote health and prevent illness and injury. Responsibilities include appropriate nursing judgment through case finding, health teaching, and health counseling. The nurse delivers care supportive of or restorative to life and well-being, and executes medical regimens including administering medications and treatments prescribed by a licensed or legally authorized provider, in accordance with the Florida Board of Nursing and Georgia Board of Nursing standards.

Basic Requirements: English Language Proficiency (per 38 U.S.C. 7403(f), proficiency in basic written and spoken English is required).
