As a Management Analyst, you will develop the ability to effectively address change and complexity within the Air Force environment, specifically in the Manpower and Organization career field. Your responsibilities include analyzing organizational structures, manpower requirements, and resource allocation to improve efficiency and effectiveness. You will conduct studies and evaluations of current processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions to enhance operational performance. Additionally, you will assist in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and guidelines related to manpower management. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to gather data, prepare reports, and present findings to support decision-making. This role involves monitoring and assessing the impact of changes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and contributing to strategic planning initiatives. You will also support the management of personnel resources, including workforce planning and utilization reviews. The position requires adaptability to evolving priorities and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

To qualify for a GS-07 level, you must meet one of the following criteria: completion of one full academic year of graduate-level education; a bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement (SAA); five academic years of pre-professional study; or one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least GS-5. You must have completed a four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and have documented Superior Academic Achievement at the undergraduate level, demonstrated by one of the following: class standing in the upper third of the graduating class; a grade point average of 2.95 or higher out of 4.0 overall, or 3.45 or higher out of 4.0 in the major field courses completed during the final two years of the curriculum; or election to membership in a national scholastic honor society. If more than 10 percent of total undergraduate credit hours are non-graded, you cannot qualify based on GPA.
