Neuropsychologist

As a Neuropsychologist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive neuropsychological assessments to evaluate cognitive functioning in patients with neurological, psychiatric, or medical conditions. Your duties include administering, scoring, and interpreting standardized neuropsychological tests, as well as integrating findings with clinical history, neuroimaging, and other diagnostic data to formulate diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations. You will provide individual and group psychotherapy, cognitive rehabilitation, and behavioral interventions tailored to patients with brain injuries, neurodegenerative diseases, epilepsy, stroke, or other neurological disorders. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams—including neurologists, psychiatrists, rehabilitation specialists, and social workers—is essential to develop and implement integrated care plans. You will also participate in patient education, family counseling, and discharge planning to support long-term cognitive health and functional independence. Additionally, you will contribute to clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and program development within the neuropsychology service. Documentation of all clinical activities in electronic health records must be timely, accurate, and compliant with regulatory standards. Supervision of psychology trainees, interns, and postdoctoral fellows may be required, including providing didactic training and case consultation. You will stay current with advances in neuropsychology through continuing education and professional development, and may be involved in community outreach or educational presentations.

Must be a United States citizen. Hold a doctoral degree in psychology from a program accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA), the Psychological Clinical Science Accreditation System (PCSAS), or the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA), with a specialty area consistent with neuropsychology. Alternatively, hold a doctoral degree in any area of psychology and complete a re-specialization program in an APA or CPA accredited doctoral program, with an approved internship, consistent with the assignment. Completion of an APA or CPA accredited internship in neuropsychology or a related specialty is required. Must have current, full, and unrestricted license to practice psychology at the doctoral level in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or the District of Columbia. At least two years of supervised experience in clinical neuropsychology, including assessment and intervention with diverse patient populations, is preferred. Board certification in clinical neuropsychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.
