Staff Physical Therapist - EDRP Approved

【岗位职责】 提供直接患者护理服务，评估患者物理治疗需求，制定并实施个性化治疗计划，监测患者进展；运用循证实践恢复功能、改善活动能力、缓解疼痛、预防或限制永久性身体残疾；订购并推荐耐用医疗设备以支持患者护理和独立性；监督物理治疗师助理，确保委派任务安全有效执行；按照法规和机构标准，准确及时地记录患者评估、治疗和进展；与其他医疗专业人员协作，协调全面患者护理；参与患者教育，教导患者及其家属治疗性锻炼、家庭计划和损伤预防策略；参与质量改进计划，并保持物理治疗实践的最新进展。 【任职要求】 具备物理治疗师相关资质；能够独立完成患者评估和治疗计划制定；熟悉循证实践方法；具备监督和指导物理治疗师助理的能力；掌握耐用医疗设备的订购和推荐知识；具备良好的沟通和协作能力；能够准确完成文档记录；有患者教育经验；愿意参与质量改进并持续学习。

Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship (non-citizens may be appointed only when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens per VA Policy). Education and experience: Must meet one of the following: (1) Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy AND five (5) years of progressively independent experience as a physical therapist; (2) Master's degree in Physical Therapy AND two (2) years of progressively independent experience as a physical therapist; (3) Doctorate degree in physical therapy. Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited college or university is required. Licensure: Must hold a full, current, and unrestricted license to practice physical therapy in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia. English Language Proficiency: Must be proficient in written and spoken English. Preferred Experience: 4 years of clinical experience in an adult population. Experience supervising Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs). Experience with ordering/recommending durable medical equipment (DME).
