Registered Nurse -Transition to Practice (TTP) Program Resident

The Registered Nurse Transition to Practice (RNTTP) Program Resident participates in a structured 12-month program focused on individual growth and development in nursing practice with increased levels of self-direction. The resident will engage in clinical rotations across various units to gain comprehensive experience in patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and adhering to evidence-based practices. The resident will also participate in educational sessions, simulation training, and mentorship activities designed to enhance clinical competencies and professional development. Additionally, the resident will document patient information accurately, communicate effectively with patients and families, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the healthcare setting.

Must be a graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency and accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) at the time the program was completed. Must possess current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth (e.g., Puerto Rico) of the United States, or the District of Columbia. Must demonstrate English Language Proficiency.
